Coastal Exploration | Thur 26 June 2025 | 12+ | £20 each
Join me on Thursday, 26th June, for an exciting opportunity to explore Moray’s fascinating ancient past in a hands-on and engaging way. We’ll delve into the history of the remarkable 250 million-year-old sandstones and learn about the magnificent dinosaurs that once roamed the earth across these ancient landscapes. Additionally, we’ll take a closer look at human history as we explore the intriguing old millstones found along the picturesque coast. As the tide begins to recede, we’ll have the chance to get our feet wet and enjoy some rock pooling, which will provide us with a wonderful opportunity to discover the diverse natural history of the area.
This event is designed for participants aged 12 and older, and some walking will be involved, so please come prepared.
Tickets are priced at £20 each, but if two children from the same family are joining us, the second child's ticket will be offered at half price.
Parents are welcome to accompany their children at no additional cost, but participation is not mandatory.
Please note that numbers are limited to just 12 participants, so be sure to book your spot soon!
The event will take place in all weather conditions, except in the event of a storm or very strong winds - in which case a full refund will be issued.
