Join me and the Fornighty Wildlife Group for a unique adventure under the stars at the Laikenbuie Ecology Trust. Together we’ll learn about folklore, natural navigation, nocturnal animals and, of course, bioluminescence! In this hands on evening, kindly made possible by ENCOMM, you’ll be given all the tools you need to appreciate our Scottish winter nights and, come away with a new confidence and love of the darkness!

The event will run from 19:30-21:30 and all information will be sent out in detail a week before the event. The event will run in almost all conditions so please wear appropriate clothing (and feel free to bring a warm drink too!). Any changes will be sent to your registered emails/phone number.

Dundreggan Nocturnal Adventure

Saturday 15th November 18:00 to 20:30 

Join professional instructor and filmmaker Will Hall and explore the wonders of the night in one of Scotland's darkest areas. Away from any light pollution, we will delve into the world of bioluminescence, natural navigation, star gazing and folklore. We'll take a short walk around beautiful Dundreggan, learning all about the plants and wildlife which call this place home and some of the adaptations they have to survive in the cold dark winters of Scotland. 

Sturdy footwear and warm clothes are essential for this fully outdoors event. You'll leave with a greater appreciation for the nocturnal flora and fauna of the highlands, and know all about the constellations which circle above us.

All ages, Children under 16 and under must be accompanied by an Adult
