The Little Fireface Project
Slow lorises are one of a very rare and unique subspecies of primate which have a deep history with Indonesian folklore and natural history. They are integral to the forest biome and The Little Fireface Project aims to explore and understand the population dynamics and behaviours of this amazing animal. We worked alongside the project for two months in 2022 capturing photos for identification and scientific research and produced a series of videos for there promotion within the community and for future project funding.
Each year the educational festival aims to reach out to the local communities and to show the importance of conservation and protection of lorises and the whole natural world
Capturing slow lorises can be extremely hazardous. The animals can cause serious harm is threatened. However in order to be able to continuously monitor and track changes, it's a necessity.
